Hon Paul Heath KC

Hon Paul Heath KC is a former Judge of the High Court of New Zealand who also, between 2003 and 2017 sat regularly as an ad hoc member of the Court of Appeal.  After retiring from the Bench in April 2018, after serving 16 years, Paul returned to practice and is based at Bankside Chambers in Auckland; Bankside also has a room at  Maxwell Suites, Singapore.  His primary areas of practice are insolvency, arbitration and mediation. Paul is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand and is a member of panels of arbitrators established by each of them.  He is also a panel member of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and a list member of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. Together with Felicity Toube QC of South Square, Paul is co-chair of INSOL International’s Mediation Colloquium.
