South Square celebrates shortlisting for the TRI Awards 2023

Now in it;s 16th year, the TRI Awards is the only awards programme recognising and rewarding excellence across turnaround, restructuring and insolvency. The Insolvency and Restructuring Chambers of the Year Award honours chambers of commercial law barristers operating in the turnaround, restructuring and insolvency field.

South Square’s leading position in insolvency and restructuring law is demonstrated not least by the high-profile and complex nature of the cases they are instructed on, including taking control of several Russian Banks to deal with the consequences of sanctions (Sova, Sberbank, Petropavlovsk) and leading on the eight-day trial of a preference claim of around £100m under section 239 of the Insolvency Act; the largest ever claim to come to trial, Geoffrey-Carton Kelly v Darty Holdings (2022).

The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday the 21st of November in London.
