William Willson and Rory Brown Appointed King’s Counsel

South Square is delighted to announce that William Willson and Rory Brown have been appointed King’s Counsel following the conclusion of the 2025–2026 King’s Counsel competition, announced today.

 

The rank of King’s Counsel is awarded to advocates who have demonstrated exceptional skill, expertise, and distinction in the conduct of advocacy. His Majesty The King has approved the appointments on the advice of the Lord Chancellor.

William and Rory will be formally sworn in as King’s Counsel by the Lord Chancellor at a ceremony to be held at Westminster Hall in March 2026.
